Hello all,

Welcome to Rebel Starzz for the 2023-2024 season. We are thrilled that you have chosen our program to allow your child to learn the basics and fundamentals of cheerleading while growing and building self esteem in this sport. We know that you have many choices when selecting activities for your child and we are sincerely honored that you have chosen the Rebel Starzz. We look forward to spending this time with your athletes and hope they enjoy this season with our UNLV Cheerleaders!

We are looking to start with a mini camp on August 19th and 20th from 2-4pm each day, which is mandatory for all athletes to attend. The first official practice of the season will be the following Tuesday August 22nd at 5:30pm.

We are currently changing how the Rebel Starzz program will be run. For the athletes, it will run as it has in the past years – they will practice on Tuesdays 5:30-7pm on the UNLV Campus in MPE North Gym and they will have a performance every month other than August. We have the annual cheer and dance extravaganza performance and another performance at Allegiant stadium lined up for this season. We will also be looking to do performances at our Lady Rebels basketball games during the season. There will be more information to follow as the times get closer!

Where things will be changing is for you, parents. First, we will no longer be using the Stack Team App, instead we will be using the Band app to communicate. Band is a more user friendly app for communication, which allows us to keep everyone more up to date with what’s going on in the program. Second, all payments will be made through UNLV Tickets.com. This website allows monthly payments and game tickets to be bought in the same place. This should allow us to streamline the payment process and make it easier for everyone. I will send out detailed instructions on where to go and how to make payments shortly. For now, please make a UNLV Tickets account if you do not already have one.
